By Simon Ho The Singapore government is urging residents to consider taking a swim in Singapore’s seashores to avoid getting sick from the sun.
The city is a popular tourist destination for Singaporeans and locals, who flock to the seashored waters to enjoy a few days in the sun, and then go back to their hotel.
However, there are still places in the city where locals are warned to not go swimming in the ocean due to a high risk of contracting the disease.
According to the city’s water department, the best place to go in the area is on the Marina Bay Sands, which is where you can find the Marina City Centre, Marina Bay Club and Marina Bay Beach.

The Singapore government says people should be aware of the risk of sunburn and should swim only in the water.
