The former president is in Florida this week for a three-day trip with his wife and two children.
The trip has been scheduled for the weekend, but his campaign said Friday that he is not expected to be back until Monday.
Clinton and his wife, Chelsea, visited Fort Myers earlier this month.
The family then spent the day at a local community center.
Clinton said Thursday he is scheduled to stay in Florida until Monday, but he has not said whether he plans to return to Washington, D.C., on the weekend.
The trip, which began last week, has raised concerns about whether the former president will be able to get a full night’s sleep.
The trip was part of a campaign push for Democratic candidates to campaign on health care during a campaign stop Thursday night in Daytona Beach.
Clinton said he was on his way to Florida on Thursday night to take part in a group swim with his children.
He was joined by his wife’s brother, Billy, and his sister, Jill.
During the group swim, which he described as an “all-inclusive, family-oriented event,” the former presidents son, Bill Clinton, and daughters Chelsea, Jill, and Chelsea, were on the water with the two daughters.

I am here with my family for a family-friendly family day out in Fort Myers, FL.
It was such a wonderful day, and it’s always fun to share this experience with my husband, and I hope you are too.
