New York’s citywide swimming lessons will soon be offering free lessons in dog swimming, according to a new report.
The New York Times reports that the classes will be held this fall in Brooklyn and Queens and will be run by a group of local volunteers.
The group will host a meet-and-greet session, which is expected to take place at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5.
The Times reports the lessons will be a blend of educational and fun.
The New York Swimmasters Club has also started a Facebook page, which has already attracted more than 1,500 likes.
The group hopes to have the classes at the end of the month.
